Type specimen: SMA 524 at 35.2x14.2. Its type locality is SMA 524, upper Tindir Creek, which is in a Tonian deep subtidal ramp lime mudstone in the Craggy Dolomite Formation of Canada.
Distribution: found only at SMA 524, upper Tindir Creek
