Type specimen: BGP 7822, point mark 1. Its type locality is Pangjapu Iron Mine, 140-165 m above base of upper member, which is in a Calymmian peritidal dolomite in the Gaoyuzhuang Formation of China.

Ecology: stationary "photoautotroph"

Distribution: found only at Pangjapu Iron Mine, 140-165 m above base of upper member
