Belongs to Peichiashania according to J. H. Shergold 1980
Sister taxa: Peichiashania hunanensis, Peichiashania prima, Peichiashania quarta, Peichiashania rectangularis, Peichiashania tertia
Type specimen: CPC 15214, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is Lily Creek Section K205, which is in an Iverian open shallow subtidal grainstone in the Chatsworth Formation of Australia.
Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore
