Type specimen: ARI G2785/1, a shell. Its type locality is Odiyam locality 2, which is in a Cenomanian marine sandstone in the Karai Formation of India.

Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal suspension feeder

Distribution: found only at Odiyam locality 2
