Sister taxa: Lemureops koppesi, Lemureops lemurei, Lemureops ploogi, Lemureops willsonpiperi

Type specimen: SUI 110162, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is H-191.7, which is in a Blackhillsian open shallow subtidal packstone/wackestone in the Fillmore Limestone Formation of Utah.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore

Distribution:

• Ordovician of United States (3: Utah collections)

Total: 3 collections each including a single occurrence
