Type specimen: ETMNH 6939, a set of postcrania (left humerus). Its type locality is Gray Fossil Site, which is in a Hemphillian/Blancan sinkhole siltstone/conglomerate in Tennessee.
Ecology: fossorial insectivore
Distribution: found only at Gray Fossil Site
