Type specimen: KUMIP 355550, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Section 3, Sekwi Formation, which is in a Cambrian open shallow subtidal mudstone/siltstone in the Sekwi Formation of Canada.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder

Distribution: found only at Section 3, Sekwi Formation
