Type specimen: MNHN.F.MAD480, a limb element (tibia). Its type locality is Ambolisatra, which is in a Holocene terrestrial horizon in Madagascar.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore-herbivore
Distribution: found only at Ambolisatra
