Type specimen: SMF 58594, an exoskeleton (thorax and pygidium). Its type locality is Kirberg Hill, Hillesheim Syncline, which is in an Eifelian marine marl in the Nohn Formation of Germany.
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder
Distribution: found only at Kirberg Hill, Hillesheim Syncline
