Type specimen: MACN 3518, a mandible (right hemimandible, with incisor and complete dental series). Its type locality is Parana, Pueblo Brugo to Diamante, Ituzaingo Fm., which is in a Huayquerian marine sandstone/mudstone in the Ituzaingo Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: ground dwelling frugivore-folivore

Distribution:
