Type specimen: LPRP/USP 0624, a partial skull. Its type locality is 9.6 km south of Jales, which is in a Campanian/Maastrichtian terrestrial horizon in Brazil.

Ecology: planktonic carnivore

Distribution: found only at 9.6 km south of Jales
