Size smaller than Pleurolicus sulcifrons Cope, 1878, Pleurolicus mensae, new species (see below), Pleurolicus dakotensis Wood, 1936b, Pleurolicus gwinni Calede and Rasmussen, 2020, and Pleurolicus nelsoni Calede and Rasmussen, 2020; larger than Pleurolicus hemingfordensis Korth et al., 1990, and Pleurolicus exiguus Korth, 1996b; similar in size to Pleurolicus rensbergeri Calede and Rasmussen, 2020; p4 longer relative to m1 as in Pl. dakotensis; no protoconid on p4; P4 with anteroposteriorly elongated entostyle, fusing with protoloph in early wear; paracone more prominent on P4; incisors more flattened anteriorly than in other species.
