Large species, larger than all other species except Pl. gwinni and Pleurolicus nelsoni Calede and Rasmussen, 2020; p4 with distinct anteroposterior valley between metaconid and protostylid opening posteriorly even on heavily worn specimens; p4 larger relative to m1 than in Pl. nelsoni, broad groove on I1.
