Sister taxa: Sierola hastata, Sierola rovniana
Type specimen: NIGP 200740, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Zhangpu amber, which is in a Langhian terrestrial amber in China.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Zhangpu amber
