Type specimen: NMNS PM 45384, a shell. Its type locality is First tributary, right bank of Shibunnai-touge-no-sawa River, which is in a Cenomanian marine mudstone in the Sakugawa Formation of Japan.

Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore

Distribution:

• Cretaceous of Japan (4 collections)
