Type specimen: MCM.M0184, a shell (shell). Its type locality is Pn1032F, Pombetsu River, Mikasa area, which is in an Albian marine mudstone in the Hikagenosawa Formation of Japan.

Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore

Average measurements (in mm): shell diameter 20.0

Distribution: found only at Pn1032F, Pombetsu River, Mikasa area
