Type specimen: UW 3223, a mandible (lower jaw). Its type locality is Shotgun, which is in a Tiffanian terrestrial horizon in the Fort Union Formation of Wyoming.

• Paleocene of Canada (1: Alberta collection), United States (10: Montana, Wyoming)

Total: 11 collections each including a single occurrence
