Type specimen: NRM Mo 204829, a valve. Its type locality is Goedong-dong, which is in a Miocene marine horizon in the Duho Formation of South Korea.
Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Goedong-dong
