Type specimen: MCZ-IZ-201003. Its type locality is Selkirkia Fezouata locality, Draa valley, which is in a Tremadocian coastal siltstone/sandstone in the Fezouata Shale Formation of Morocco.

Ecology: facultatively mobile semi-infaunal carnivore

Distribution: found only at Selkirkia Fezouata locality, Draa valley
