Type specimen: USNM 141505, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is 36v. Reservoir of Mumpower Creek. 3/4 mile northwest of Bristol, which is in a Dresbachian marine limestone in the Nolichucky Formation of Virginia.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore

Distribution: found only at USGS 3532-CO
