Sister taxon: Pliomeroides deferrariisi
Type specimen: UWA 71189, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is section RM 10, 215 m, Emanuel Creek, Canning Basin, which is in an Arenig marine horizon in the Emanuel Formation of Australia.
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore
Distribution:
