Type specimen: IRSNB P 10749, an otolith (sagitta). Its type locality is Sample 13, Hatchetigbee Bluff, which is in a Ypresian offshore sandstone in the Hatchetigbee Formation of Alabama.

Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore-parasite

Distribution: found only at Sample 13, Hatchetigbee Bluff
