Type specimen: IGPS 111759, a shell. Its type locality is Cape Tatezaki, Utatsu, Minamisanriku Town, Miyagi Prefecture, which is in a Spathian marine siliciclastic in the Osawa Formation of Japan.

Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Cape Tatezaki, Utatsu, Minamisanriku Town, Miyagi Prefecture
