Sister taxa: Trichotropis (Iphinoe), Trichotropis (Provanna), Trichotropis alienensis, Trichotropis borealis, Trichotropis cancellata, Trichotropis insignis, Trichotropis mississippiensis, Trichotropis squamosa, Trichotropis tricarinata
Type specimen: Its type locality is Dave Weeks place, Coon Creek, which is in a Campanian coastal sandstone in the Ripley Formation of Tennessee
Ecology: facultatively mobile epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution:
• Cretaceous of United States (2: Tennessee collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
