Type specimen: SNHMB.G 8199, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Mexican amber (SNHMB Braunschweig collection), which is in a Miocene terrestrial amber in the Mazantic Shale Formation of Mexico.

Distribution: found only at Mexican amber (SNHMB Braunschweig collection)
