Sister taxa: Crepicephalus australis, Crepicephalus buttsi, Crepicephalus ceratopygoides, Crepicephalus iowensis

Type specimen: USNM 95509, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is outcrops along east road at Fredonia, which is in a Marjumian carbonate limestone in the Cap Mountain Formation of Texas.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore

Distribution:

• Cambrian of United States (15: South Dakota, Texas, Wyoming collections)

Total: 15 collections each including a single occurrence
