Type specimen: USNM 159522. Its type locality is USGS M409, Rabbit Hill, which is in a Pragian carbonate limestone in the Rabbit Hill Limestone Formation of Nevada.
Ecology: stationary epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at USGS M409, Rabbit Hill
