Type specimen: KUVP 7800, a skull (crushed skull with posterior cranium missing plus left and right rami). Its type locality is Big Pocket, which is in a Torrejonian terrestrial siltstone in the Nacimiento Formation of New Mexico.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at Big Pocket
