Belongs to Leptograptus according to I. Strachan 1997
Sister taxa: Leptograptus flaccidus, Leptograptus capillaris
Type specimen: BGS GSE 5501, 5502. Its type locality is Hawkwood Burn, near Abington Water, which is in a Caradoc/Harnagian marine shale in the Glenkiln Shale Formation of the United Kingdom.
Ecology: passively mobile planktonic suspension feeder
Distribution:
• Ordovician of the United Kingdom (2 collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
