Belongs to Pseudopisidum according to M. Tashiro and T. Kozai 1989
Sister taxon: Pseudopisidum hibiharaensis
Type specimen: KSG 4236, a valve (internal mold of left valve). Its type locality is Shingai, Tosayamadacho, Higashigawa, which is in a Barremian marine sandstone in the Monobe Formation of Japan.
Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal suspension feeder
Distribution:
• Cretaceous of Japan (2 collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
