Sister taxon: Xenovenator robustus
Type specimen: CPC 2973, a partial skull (braincase). Its type locality is La Parrita (SEPCP-9), which is in a Campanian marginal marine shale in the Cerro del Pueblo Formation of Mexico.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore-omnivore
Distribution:
