Type specimen: M KNU, no. M-108/1, a valve (right valve). Its type locality is channel of the Dnieper River under the Amursky Bridge, Dnepr, which is in a Priabonian perireef or subreef sandstone/sandstone in the Mandrikovka Formation of Ukraine.
Ecology: facultatively mobile shallow infaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at channel of the Dnieper River under the Amursky Bridge, Dnepr
