Sister taxa: Trogolemur fragilis, Trogolemur myodes, Trogolemur storeri

Type specimen: CM 40069, a mandible (left dentary fragment preserving crowns of M1-2, roots or alveoli for I1, C1, P3-4). Its type locality is Davis Ranch, which is in a Bridgerian fluvial-lacustrine mudstone in the Wind River Formation of Wyoming.

Ecology: arboreal herbivore
