Type specimen: AMNH 12399, a mandible (right ramus of mandible with C(?)-M3, inclusive). Its type locality is Granger Station, which is in a Bridgerian terrestrial horizon in the Bridger Formation of Wyoming.

Distribution:
• Eocene of United States (17: Montana, Nevada, Wyoming collections)
Total: 17 collections each including a single occurrence
