Sister taxon: Saurolophus angustirostris

Type specimen: AMNH 5220, a skeleton. Its type locality is Tolman Ferry, Red Deer River (AMNH), which is in a Maastrichtian fluvial-lacustrine sandstone in the Horseshoe Canyon Formation of Canada.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution:

• Cretaceous of Canada (2: Alberta collections)
