Type specimen: MACN 10753, a maxilla (poorly preserved anterior part of skull). Its type locality is Barranca south of Lago Colhue-Huapi, Gran Barranca, which is in a Bartonian terrestrial claystone in the Sarmiento Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: scansorial herbivore

Distribution: found only at Barranca south of Lago Colhue-Huapi, Gran Barranca
