Sister taxon: Pteromus rapius
Type specimen: PIN, no. 4552/260. Its type locality is Xianfeng Settlement, 60 km from Kunming, which is in a Meishucunian/Tommotian carbonate phosphorite in the Yuhucun Formation of China.
Distribution:
• Cambrian of China (2 collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
