Type specimen: Its type locality is US Highway 40, 9.4 miles west of Lawrence, 3 miles south of Lecompton, which is in a Virgilian carbonate limestone in the Deer Creek Formation of Kansas

Ecology: slow-moving low-level epifaunal detritivore

• Carboniferous of United States (13: Kansas, Missouri, New Mexico, Texas collections)
