Type specimen: CAS 68395, a valve. Its type locality is USGS M1027 - 2 kilometers southeast of Parker Ranch, east fork of Scott River, which is in a Ludfordian carbonate limestone in the Gazelle Formation of California.
Ecology: facultatively mobile epifaunal grazer
Distribution: found only at USGS M1027 - 2 kilometers southeast of Parker Ranch, east fork of Scott River
