Type specimen: WAM 82.326. Its type locality is Poivre Fm, The Ledge, which is in a Miocene shallow subtidal limestone in the Poivre Formation of Australia.
Ecology: epifaunal grazer-deposit feeder
Distribution: found only at Poivre Fm, The Ledge
