Type specimen: University of California, Museum of Paleontology Holotype 37534. Its type locality is Asteroidea, Ten Mile Mb., Big Chico Creek, which is in a Campanian deltaic sandstone in the Chico Formation of California.

Ecology: epifaunal detritivore

Distribution: found only at Asteroidea, Ten Mile Mb., Big Chico Creek
