Type specimen: Texas Christian University, Holotype TCU 1083. Its type locality is Asteroidea, Reid locality 9, Dirks, Pawpaw fm, Fort Worth, which is in an Albian offshore shelf claystone in the Pawpaw Formation of Texas.

Ecology: epifaunal detritivore
