Type specimen: PMPU 26367, a partial skull (partial skull and mandible with no teeth). Its type locality is Schio, which is in an Aquitanian marine sandstone in the Arenaria di Grumi Formation of Italy.

Ecology: aquatic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Schio
