Type specimen: UT 14331, a shell. Its type locality is Loc. 1. Gully below water tank at abandoned RR bridge, 2 km south of intersection of a metal sufaced road and Farm Road 207, which is in a Virgilian marine shale in the Graham Formation of Texas.
