Type specimen: CGM 40006, a mandible (a left mandible with the root of the lower canine, the crowns of P2-4> and the damaged crown of Mi). Its type locality is Qasr el-Sagha Loc., which is in a Priabonian marine shale/sandstone in the Qasr el-Sagha Formation of Egypt.

Ecology: scansorial insectivore

Distribution: found only at Qasr el-Sagha Loc.
