Type specimen: Amer. Mus. No. 28539, a mandible (part of right lower jaw with M2-3). Its type locality is Cañadón Hondo, Kibenikhoria Faunal Zone, which is in a Riochican alluvial fan sandstone in the Las Flores Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: scansorial insectivore

Distribution:

• Paleocene of Argentina (2 collections)
