Chardinomys bilikeensis

Taxonomy
Chardinomys bilikeensis was named by Qiu and Storch (2000). Its type specimen is IVPP 11932, a maxilla (sin. with M1), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Bilike, which is in a Pliocene lacustrine horizon in China.

On M1, t1 and t4 elongated and occasionally an anterolingual cingulum on the former and an accessory cuspule on the latter; t5 frequently connected with t6 by a thin crest; precingulum very strong. m1 usually with distinct c4. M1 three- or four-rooted. m1 two- or three-rooted.
