Hispanomys dispectus

Taxonomy

Hispanomys dispectus was named by Agustí (1980). Its type specimen is IPMC VP610, a maxilla (dext. with M1-M3), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Hostalets de Pierola inferior, which is in a MN 7 + 8 terrestrial horizon in Spain.

Diagnosis

Reference	Diagnosis
J. Agustí 1980	Hispanomys de la talla media. Ectolophos completos. Tanto los valles linguales como los valles labiales de los molares superiores se encuentran bordeados pro cingulos bajos. El M1 presenta cuatro raices siempre. En el m1, el metalofulido es anterior en casi todos los casos y nunca posterior.
