Heliospongia vokesi
Taxonomy
Heliospongia vokesi was named by King (1943). Its type specimen is AMNH 25227 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USNM705a, Hess Ranch, Glass Mountains, which is in a Kungurian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Skinner Ranch Formation of Texas.
