It was assigned to Nymphitidae by Handlirsch (1906), Martynova (1949), Carpenter (1992), Ponomarenko (2003); to Gumillinae by Wang et al. (2009); to Nymphinae by Shi et al. (2015); and to Nymphidae by Shi et al. (2013), Archibald and Makarkin (2020).
